Importing into Civil 3D

  1. Set the drawing coordinate system to NZGD2000 / NZTM2000, units metres.
  2. Import Points using the "ENZ (comma delimited)" format. If you kept the column titles, delete row 1 first or Civil 3D won't match the format.
  3. Create a TIN surface and add the imported point group under Definition → Point Groups.

Indicative use only

This is a bare-earth terrain model (no buildings or vegetation). Its 1 m resolution does not mean survey accuracy. Use it for indicative and preliminary modelling only — not for construction set-out or excavation design. Before any digging, request plans through beforeUdig.
